Built in 1425 Castle is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. imposing 15th-century castle restored and rich, filled with period furnishings. Located on the banks of the River Ratty surrounded by the recreation of an Irish village from the 19th century.
Folk Park
Bunratty Folk Park is set on 26 acres, featuring over 30 buildings in a ‘living’ village and rural setting. Rural farmhouses, village shops and streets are recreated and furnished as they would have appeared at that time. Visitors can learn about traditional village life over a 100 years ago and explore typical rural houses and businesses
Craggaunowen Castle & Crannog
Craggaunowen Castle was built circa1550 by John MacSioda MacNamara. <br> Crannogs were found in Ireland during the Iron Age and early Christian periods.At Craggaunowen you gain a fascinating insight into how the Celts made their homes on a Crannog.

Quin Abbey
