Covid Rules – Looking Forward to Traveling to Ireland Again?

There is definitely some light at the end of the tunnel. The Irish government has removed most Covid-19 restrictions starting January 29th due to a significant drop in new cases. We hope you will soon see the departure signs again, whether for business or a pleasure trip to Ireland. Covid rules have decreased significantly.

Remaining Restrictions – Covid Rules

Many restrictions have been lifted, but some remain in place until February 28th. These include mandatory face masks on public transport and in indoor settings, along with safety measures in schools and childcare facilities. Travelers still need a C-19 vaccination or recovery certificate for international travel. Additionally, they must show proof of a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours before arriving in Ireland. From January 29th, there are no social distancing requirements, no attendee limits at public events, and no restrictions on household gatherings. Vaccination or recovery certificates are no longer required to access hospitality or indoor activities. Restaurants and bars can now return to normal operating hours instead of closing at 8 p.m. Nightclubs are open again, and office workers can return on a phased basis.
